Line 7’s top of the range 3 layer fabric engineered to perform in the toughest conditions you can find. Aquatec? provides an extremely high level of waterproofness and is twice as breathable as standard Aquatec.

| BREATHABLE |
|
Breathable fabrics ensure you remain comfortable as well as dry.
If heat vapour caused by activity cannot “breathe” out through the outerwear garment it will condense into moisture and cause clothing to become wet. Your body will lose heat up to 30 x quicker when wet than when it is dry.

| DWR |
|
Line 7 Aquatec wet weather fabric is treated with either Durable Water Repellency (DWR) or Super Durable Water Repellency. DWR is an invisible film that is applied around the fibres of the wet weather fabric. Its primary purpose is to help bead water off the outer layer of fabric and ensure water does not penetrate into the fabric which will affect the breathable properties of the laminate.
Due to normal wear of garment in harsh marine environments the DWR finish will eventually lose its effectiveness.
When water is no longer beading off the outer fabric it is time to renew the DWR.
DWR can be refreshed by applying a DWR wash available from marine or outdoor stores.
